Alkaline and acids. If you are student of chemistry than sure you know about alkaline and acids. Whether food is alkaline, neutral and acidic it all depends upon the pH values. Values of pH scale runs from 0-14. Value of pH 7 is neutral while substances with less than 7 pH are acidic in nature and those substances that have more than 7 pH and up to 14 pH are alkaline in nature.

Depression, headache, dry skin, poor digestion, mood swings, anxiety, nail and hair related problems and sensitive gums all are the result of consumption of highly acidic foods.
