All the ingredients in this formulation have a special medicinal benefits which are mentioned below:-

  1. Shuddha tankan (An ayurvedic compound): It is hot in potency, balances the vata dosha. Due to both these properties it promotes the flow of menstrual blood. Also it has the property to balance kapha dosha so by balancing kapha dosha it removes the obstruction that also aids the flow of artava (menstrual blood).
  2. Hinga (Ferula asafoetida): Hinga (Ferula asafoetida) is known for its hot potency. Although it balances vata, pitta and kapha dosha, mainly it helps in pacifying kapha dosha and balancing vata dosha with vayu anulomana (restores normal movement of vata). Also it is helpful in alleviating pain and cramps during menstruation.
  3. Shuddh kasis (An ayurvedic iron compound): Absence of menstruation includes anemia as one of the causes. Shuddh kasis helps in promoting hemoglobin levels which in turn corrects anemia and later on improves the absence of menstruation.
  4. Kanya saar (Aloe barbadensis) and its juice: Aloe vera is tridosha shamak. And also it is very effective in balancing the hormone levels in women. As we know that hormones also play a major role in regular menstruation so by balancing hormone levels we may correct irregular menstruation.
  5. Ghrita: It is considered as tridosha shamak along with that it helps in vata anulomana. Also rakta dosha is vitiated in amenorrhea so by balancing pitta dosha it regulates the rakta dosha and promotes regular menstruation.

  1. Firstly take Shuddha tankan (An ayurvedic compound), Hinga (Ferula asafoetida), Shuddha kasis (An ayurvedic iron compound), Kanya saar (Aloe barbadensis) in equal amount and put it in mortar and and triturate it with Juice of aloe vera (Aloe barbadensis) and ghrita (cow's ghee).
  2. Mix it well and put it into a tray, dry it in sunlight and add honey into it and make tablets from it.
