In Ayurveda Piles are called as Arsh. In Ayurveda, there are three energies – vata, pitta and kapha that are responsible for a healthy body. Imbalance of any of three energies lead to several health complications. In piles there is the imbalance of all the tridoshas (vata, pitta and kapha). Aggravation of pitta dosha also results in the toxins (ama) accumulation in the digestive gut.
